2nd Sunday of Advent

Take to heart this week the Peace Prayer of St Therese.


Saint Theresa’s Prayer

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing,
Dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.
Amen

LIVING GOD’S WORD
For this week’s act of service, you will learn how to be
a light of peace in your family
Christ calls us to love one another and what better way
to prepare our hearts this Advent Season than growing
in our love for our family.
This week each family member will find ways to help
and affirm another member of the family. To complete
this task, put each family members name in a hat or
bowl and have each person draw a name. You are not to
reveal their name nor will you ever reveal their name.
