Catholic Blog Picks for Blog Day 2009

Wow!  August 31 crept up on me.  It’s Blog Day 2009 already.  On Blog Day,  we are asked to list 5 blogs which may be of interest to our readers then link back to Blogday.org with your post.

Here from the Home Office in Apto, Ontario are five excellent Catholic Blogs in no particular order.

  1. LOLSaints.com Saint Pictures captioned in the style of LOLCats.  A perfect combination of faith and funny.
  2. DIAKONIA – A Blog By Deacon Pat Kearns I met Deacon Pat at Catholic Familyand in Bloomingdale, Ohio this summer.  He is a wonderful person, and so is his blog.
  3. Popple.us For the past several weeks, Catholic nerdfolk duo, Popple have been live blogging and videostreaming the recording sessions for their new album.  It has been a fun, and insightful window into the creative process.  http://www.ustream.tv/channel/popplecast , Twitter:  Dan @popplemusic Kyle  @popplekyle
  4. What Does Mike Think? My plurk friend Mike writes about the philosophy and theology behind pro-life issues and Theology of the Body.
  5. Tech Tips for Catholics Faith and Gadgets.  ’nuff said.

Those are my picks. Join the conversation and share some of your favorite Catholic blogs. You can write them on your own blog and tag it BlogDay2009 or send me some feedback on the blog at http://cc.ductapeguy.net by email at (catholicroundup@gmail.com) catholicroundup (at) gmail (dot) com or by calling 206-337-0611.
