CNMC Video Promos

The past 3 years, I’ve gotten into the habit of creating video promos for the Catholic New Media Celebration, which is occuring this year in Boston on August 6-8.

The  fine folks at SQPN have produced not one, but two CNMC MMX audio promos for  use on your podcast, blog, webpage, or radio show.

CNMC MMX Audio Promo 2

Today I created a video promo for CNMC MMX using the Google Search Stories creator.

Here is my 2008 promo, with slight updates.

Mp3 of the CNMC Blues

Our 2009 promo was a parody of ‘Is Anybody Going to San Antone?’ Adam Hendey helped out on flute recorded by his mom, Lisa Hendey ( http://new.catholicmom.com ). Dan Harms from Popple provide a tasty guitar solo. ( http://popple.us ). My always supportive wife and daughter helped shoot the video and make cameo appearances.

We REALLY wanted to be at the Catholic New Media Celebration in San Antonio this weekend but it was just not possible for us to go this year. Instead We participated by watching the ustream, and participating on plurk and twitter. I interviewed a number of people both at the CNMC and those who could not make it. More detailed show notes will follow later.

I still can’t go to the CNMC

Play

Today, Father Roderick and the SQPN network closed their annual fund raising drive with a 12 hour podcast marathon. I thought I would surprise Father Roderick with something special. The Catholic New Media Celebration will be held this year in San Antonio, Texas on June 27. I’m still unable to go but it will be an amazing event. To help promote the CNMC, I wrote and recorded a parody called, ‘People are going to San Antone’ with the help of Adam Hendey on flute (recorded by his mother Lisa Hendey the Catholic Mom), and Dan Harms of Popple on Lead Guitar.

Enjoy.

And if you can make it to the Catholic New Media Celebration, head on over to celebration.sqpn.com for more information.
